hi there all am in two minds which valve to get can anyone help cant choose between the forge 007 or the forge splitter r have been told the splitr can damage or confuse the ecu is this true surely not?? and is there much dif between sound as some say there is and other say not that much help lol cheers

not sure about the splitter R but if it dumps air rather than 'recirc' it, then it will more than likely reduce power and maybe flag a fault
luckily Audi designed the car to underperform with a dump valve, probably due to performance although i like to hope it was so that chavs cant turn it into the next Saxo/Focus 1.6 chariot

it may very well work, but if its blowing off it means its not putting all the air back into the system, plus you will have that annoyingly stupid psssst sound that 'C' plate escorts get...... you pays ya money
im standard with a mapped car, tis absolutely fine and i have no plans to change as cant see the benefit

each to their own though, i think you get noise from it depending where you position it (2 different ways)
