I picked up a leon front splitter today which i'm going to fit this weekend and i'm after a bit of advice.

I know i have to cut the two columns down in the middle, question is how much do i cut off them, is it flush to the splitter or just the 2 clips on the top?

Also how do you attach it? does it screw into the underside of the bumper and if so what screws did you use?

Cheers, Dave.

I shaved mine to the same height as the top of the splittler,so then it has abit of sterdiness, and wont just woft about.... Centre it up,then i used used 10mm speed bolts... As for the corners, you need to trim them down,as to how you wanna do this,is up to you,but i trimmed mine to the shape of the bumper,so it looks as standard as possible...

Il get some pics up tonight for you...

Pete...

yup same as Pete said, best cutting the sides down so they are there or there abouts, fit the thing and then trim as required whilst part of the splitter is fitted, i used a stanley to keep shaving bits off tilll it fitted into the curve of the bumper
