Steam off the bonnet????????

Moisture on a hot surface will cause steam.

Yep thats fine its to do with temperature differences and just the water evapourating

Its when it comes from inside the bonnet you need to worry!!

Out of curiosity have you washed the car before you've noticed this problem? Were you driving the car when it happend and stopped/parked up in traffic or lights etc?

no it was dirty. its just once warmed up and only when raining.

Does it come from what looks like the front of the car & as said before are you sitting in the car when it happens?

ye sat in the car, and it comes from the back of the engine as in near windscreen, where turbo is??

Mine does this only from the front of the car when i've washed it or it rains hard. Steam from radiator i think.

Yours could be a blocked drainage hole on the windscreen plastic panel, running onto engine exhaust etc??
