Last weekend while doing my haldex oil/filter i spotted one of my rear shocks has a small leak and thought I might as well look to upgrade them.

What shocks are the favourites with you lot?

Sorry I should have done a few searches first!

I think i'll go with the Bilstein B8's. I've found them at demon tweaks for around £250 for fronts and backs. Anyone know anywhere cheaper?

That sounds far too cheap for both the front and the back!! They're normally between £450 and £500 for the 4. I've got a feeling the prices you're seeing on Demon Tweeks are per shock, not for a pair.

**EDIT** Yep..see this bit on the website:

PLEASE NOTE DAMPERS ARE SOLD SINGULARLY AND ARE PRICED AS EACH

Get koni fsd they ride well and stiffen as you push harder.

Eh??
Surely the springs control the ride hight?
I havent had these but have been told by both companys and people with them that its a very nice compromise between comfort and handeling?

i wouldnt worry about the leaking shocks, jabbasport told me that it is not a major issue.

Just think on the bright side your ride height maybe lower ;-)
