hi i need a new rear diff for my x reg 2000 a3 qts ive been told that not all rear diffs are the same and that i need to with the same gearing as my gearbox? does anyone know if this part number will fit my car 02D525010AE. my car has a euk dwx 5 speed gearbox, thanks guys. p.s the rear diff is from an x reg 2000 golf v6 4 motion, which i was told will fit.

That number is for the rear diff complete I believe. Is that the part number from the Golf diff? That number is listed as the correct rear diff for an EUK rear box which yours is.
If the numbers match then it'll fit.
If the numbers match then it'll fit.
balls sorry got the wrong part number above, the part that i have and want to fit is 02D525554/J thanks for your help htc ur a start, could you let me know if this will work with my euk box? the number from my first post is the number the stealers gave me when i asked which one i need, but i belive the part numbers change every couple of yeras? thanks again
