Does anyone know my 2001 AMK engine can fit samco induction pipe TB1007, it doesn't mentioned from Samco website to support AMK but my engine looks similar to those TT engine, please advise.

Yeah, no problems on an AMK. I had one on mine.
Not sure about the code number though...AMK and BAM are the same I think TIP wise...the earlier engine is different.

ess i know about the stickies on the top but how did the car feel with the tip added?

Honestly, it made no difference whatsoever.

Despite all the 'experts' rolling out VAG Com logs to show increased MAF flow measurements...I took mine to the dyno, and got nothing. Nadda. Nowt. F'all.

I guess it would prevent the inlet hose collapsing - although I don't believe the AMKs were ever prone to that...but it looks pretty.
Oh, and it's a pure **** to fit.

It can't be a bad modification - it's certainly no worse than the standard hose...but don't go expecting any power gains.

I can't be more honest than that.

I have a BRAND NEW Pipe for sale iff your interested?? I have an older engine, and it doesnt fit,so if you wanna buy mine cheeper, then let me know..

Pete..
