Clonking noise from rear of the car

On my two year old 70K miler + S3 its suddenly developed a 'clocking noise' when moving - seems a bit random can happen round corners or a straight bit of road - which seems to be coming from underneath the rear of the car, I've had a good look at the exhaust seems ok, starting to think its the rear suspension

Anyone experienced similar problems

Could be either the rear drive shaft joints or the ARB (anti roll bar)

Wow 70K in two years. Thats a lot of driving!

Lol, turned out to be (well it hasn't made any noises yet) the spare wheel - after lifting the rear mat I noticed the screw was not done up tight.

74K at the moment - its a company car - so I make the most of it.
