    hi m8

im 22 4yrs no claims, i pay 485 full comp on my S3, i have 3 points as well

with churchill, however, as far as after care, they are simply the worst insurance company ive ever been with! i rather pay a bigger premium than be insured by them again !

i should think you can get your insurance cheaper if you hunt round a bit

I've got 8 years no claims so don't have much trouble getting cheap quotes, but http://www.greenlightinsurance.com/ seem to be recommended quite a lot.

    I'm with Elephant..

I'm 21. 2 year ncb. no points/claims. Fully comp I'm paying ~730 (with Mother on as a named driver)

I find this knocks the price down a fair amount sometimes.

    Good luck.

With admiral for several years now....
30 with 5 yrs NCB guaranteed, paying 465 fully comp with hire car cover etc etc.....
Had to claim a few years back after a meeting of metal/fence....car written off, and despite the fact the MoT had expired the day of the accident, they still paid out full market value and only took 1 years NCB off me!

Im with admiral too have been for the last 3 years.

My renewal quote was 320 fully comp with all the extras eg windscreen courtesy car etc. also got a low excess of 100. I'm 32 with 7 years NCB.

Weirdly though it was cheaper for me to have the car registered as on the drive rather than in the garage.

Lastly if you have a Wife/Girlfriend or another car user in the household i reccomend multicar from admiral. This is what i am doing now as i got me and my girlfriend both insured me on the S3 with her as a named driver and her on her Polo with me as a named driver same fully comp insurance as before for 417 for the both of us.

I'm 27, with 9yrs no claims (protected), 0 points, with tescos for 325 + free 100 pressure washer & half price gold breakdown cover for 75 so 400 if you add that on!

I must admit it did take a lot of ringing to get them to do that, the sales person wouldn't even get near that price ( i think 400 without the washer and breakdown), i had to get them to put me through to someone higher than them.

Try adrian flux as well. They and greenlight consistently come out as lowest for me. Adrian flux have guarantee to match other genuine quotes at renewal, and so have always been able to hammer them down. This is with a long list of mods of course which will make a difference.

I actually thought insurance prices were set in stone, I am insured with Admiral and didnt take out hire car cover as I could borrow my dads car but obviously would be a hassle, they called me twice, on the second time I said no I'm not interested she said hold on... came back and said her manager authorised a maximum discount and got 40% off!

its the old thing Rav, whats in it for them...yes they will have advertising for the site but they MUST be pulling money in elsewhere with all these TV ads they are funding.... you dont get anything for nothing now as everyone is out to make a quick 'Buck'.... all these 'simple' solutions, 'answers' to your prayers are merely smoke screens designed to make someone else money

Im not sure how u guys insurance work there, but Im paying R601.19p/m so that should be 42.94 pound and it will work out to 515.28 pounds per year.
Im 26 and i have never claimed, my installment will be like this till i stop it. Fully covered for accident, stolen and i get a hired car etc etc..... Does this sound like a good deal compared to there?

Yes your right, it just depends if you want to spend all day on the phone repeating your details over and over again to save a few quid. You could do a seach with the above, see who comes out the cheapest and ring the top three to see if it is cheaper by calling direct.

it obviously will be different for everyone Lenny, im 29 with 9yers no claims and 3 points so obviouslty high risk and the best quote was near a grand, I more than cut this in half just by ringing one random that wasnt on there then using that to barter with adrian flux

I always use either Greenlight or AdrianFlux, they are best for insuring modded 8L S3's, standard cars, I would stick with Known Insurance company's like Directline, Privilege or Admiral etc. Brentacre seems to offer a really good package where you can modify as much as you like so long as the engine capacity stays the same I think, but they have always quoted around 100 more than my lowest quote, so I have never actually been with them, but they certainly know what they are on about in terms of mods.

298 With Norwich Union (Aviva). I am 31, 5 Years NCB, protected, Mother as second driver on policy also.

Cracking deal i thought. My car is locked away safely in my garage ever night. It is very very rarely left on the driveway (not that i live in a dodgy area but rather for peace of mind).

333 fully comp with privelege 9 years ncb protected for me with the missus as a named driver. I'm 38 and she is 29 and also earning ncb from my policy. No points.

Was previously with swift cover but due to the missus age they wouldnt insure her on the S3.

****ing hell, you guys are mental! what happened to buying a smaller car for a few years, then working your way up to a nicer car?

2yrs of you guys paying that insurance is a deposit on a house!

im 35, 6yrs no claims, 3 points and its 324 fully comp.
