Is it worth a remap?

I have a 2001 1.8 20v non turbo a3, when new it had 125bhp from what i have seen on tinternet it rekons it will go up to 138bhp, do u think the cost of the remap and the additinal cost to my insurance worth that extra 13bhp? would you in my position?

no, it's not worth it, I doubt you'd notice much difference... And I'd be suprised if you even got 13bhp extra, be lucky to get 7 or 8 bhp.....

You'll be lucky to get 5BHP from a remap I reckon, better off paying the difference and upgrading to a 1.8T than waste money on a remap for your car in my opinion.

normally aspirated engines don`t really justify a remap imo
