my cars going in for some warranty work and whilst its there I'm going to get them to have a look at the running problems I'm getting but should I tell them its chipped incase they revert it back to standard trying to sort the problem.

I don't want to tell them as the cars still in warranty but I don't want them undoing any work, what do you think

Wouldn't tell them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So far as I know they'd have to change the ECU to undo it. Sure there's more opinion waiting though!

Unless they replace your ECU unit, your chip will still be there.

Unplugging the ECU or disconnecting the battery will have no ill effects!

thats what I wanted to hear thanks!
