Rear coil springs

Hi All been a while!!

I went out this morning and found a bit of spring on the drive! Its off the rear off side spring just the last small part!

Where is the best place to get 2 x standard springs from??

I don't want to lower it etc

I'm guessing its quite a simple job with compressors....................

Yea saw them earlier, To be honest if you look close they look knackered aswell! I'll only fit new ones its not worth it.

I had one snap on me but didnt notice till the mot. I also didnt want to lower the car so tried to get one from a motorfactors but couldnt.
I ended up getting them from audi for about £60 each.
Mine is an 01 y plate facelift amk and the part number was 1j0 511 115 cr.
Not sure if it will be same for yours. The springs had some purplish paint marks on them IIRC.

I have one of the std ones after swapping my suspension, one of mine had also got a snapped coil. Your welcome to it if your near huddersfield anytime. done 50k but might put you on a while

Looks like the stealers then. Will get my mate to order them at least loose the VAT!

you dont need compressors for the rear springs, the broken one will fly out and the new one is just a tighter fit.
