handbrake

i have just changed my rear brake pads as the old ones were low, now my handbrake is crap any ideas it was fine before.

I found i had to tighten the cable after changing my pads too - its just a 10mm nut that can be found under the ashtray

Loosen the nut a bit, turn the ignition on and pump the brake pedal hard a few times with the handbrake off. Then test the handbrake and adjust the nut to tighten it if necessary.
