Coolant top up

Had the dreaded low low coolant symbol this morning, with the cold weather...May be a silly question ask but when using G-12 to top up do I need to add 50% water at the same time, or is it already mixed in?

I Mixed the g12 mate with water as it isnt mixed straigh out of bottle.

I just filled empty bottle 1/2 and 1/2 g12 and that done the job perfect...

Read the bottle for the mixture %. Should be done correctly esp with the cold weather. You need to mix water with it though.

40 coolant or 40 water...I hear the non-static water or something like that is the stuff to go for out of halfords...

should be 40-60 % strength so either 40 ml coolant per 100 ml of mixture up to 60ml of coolant per 100ml of mixture. I use a old screen wash bottle fill up to 500ml with coolant then fill to 1 ltr mark with water hey presto 50% mixture.
