Failed MOT, broken rear spring

Took the car today for the MOT and failed due to a snapped off side rear spring.

How easy is it to DIY? I'm picking up a pair of springs tomorrow from nottingham audi for £52 each.

Anyone have any advice or a guide on how to do this? Also will i have to have the wheels aligned when its done?

check fot the rear setup guide. It's quite straight forward and an easy job

this hapend to me i got a set of h&r springs from dpm and got them fitted from midland vw

One of mine was snapped when I changed my suspension and it had resently passed a mot. Its a common fault. They are easy to change.
