New to the fourm

Hi all,
I am new to the Audi fourm, my first audi is a 2006 A3 2T. I have only had it a week, i use to own a 92 VW golf, 2000 VW golf and still own a 2004 Jetta TDI.

I am a little familiar with VAG-Com. Ran a scan yesterday and gave me the following list of codes. A few problms, but not sure what some of the faults are.

Just to point out that you've got an 8P A3 and you're in the 8L (old shape) forum.

also, a little confusing, is that you say the car is a 2006 2.0T, which would indicate it's an 8P chassis not an 8L (there is a seperate 8P forum just above this one), yet the scan seems to list it as an 8L chassis..... sounds a little odd!

the only thing I can comment on, is the electric window switch in the doors more often than not turns out to be a cracked dodgy wire, rather than needing a new motor/regulator

Thanks, but go figure a few more of the engine being turned off and turned back on and the windows are back to normal. A little late on the post, i was rear ended by a woman doing roughly 50 mil/hr while i was at a stand still. Finally got the car back.

the messed up part is that i dont get any diagnostics when i run VCDS on 8P but i do on 8L.
