Ok,for the last 10years or so,all ive ever had were Eagle F1s,but seing as there not made any more, and aint going to be around for ever,i need to start looking at a new set of boots for the S3....

Whats folks oppinions on

Yoko Prada`s http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4x-225-40-18-Z...1%7C240%3A1308

Or Toyo Proxes http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4x-225-40-18-Z...1%7C240%3A1308

Dont know much about either, the Yokos look like a cut slick??? Are they,or is that just there tred pattern?? Plus Yokos of old were good tyres,as they were soooooooooo soft a compound,is that the case with them still?? I wana see abit more than 4000miles to a set of tyres.....

Or is there a preferd tyre that you guys all use, that you find suite the car well???

Pete...

i would probably get the toyos, yoko are good tyres but soft as you say,if you do alot of miles then these will probably wear too quick for you, both good tyres though

Ive used Toyo T1-R and think its a very good tyre. They get very good reviews and come in at a very good price in comparison.

A mate of mine had T1-R`s on his Evo.. He nails that thing like there is no tomorrow, and i mean HARD and he got a good 5/6000 miles out of them, but said they were a tad dicey in the wet, unlike when he was on F1`s...

ive just getting 4 Uni Royal Rainsports and im impressed with them :)

I had the Yoko's last time...four hundred quid fitted

they are sexy

Ive been running the Parada's for a few years now and find them really good, great grip levels and they wear alot better than Yoko's of old ( i once did a set of A510's on the front of my 205 GTI in 3000 miles)
