Facelift tail lights

Just seen a pair of facelift tail lights on eBay, but the blurb explicitly states that the bulb holders are not included.

Do I need new holders? Are the bulbs in a different place on the facelift lights? Or can I use my existing holders?

I found that the indicators flash white as the filter was on the tail lamp and i couldn't get hold of any orange bulb with the right offset for the old holder.

So what did you do in the end? Get new bulb holders?

you dont need new bulb holders at all.

Buy the lights, and your old holders will work fine.

As said above though, you need an orange indicator bulb, that's all.

Dont get an orange bulb though, they look nasty, like a fried egg.

Search ebay for 'chrome' indicator bulbs.

They have a silver/chromed appearence, and flash bright orange.

Yeah I did the upgrade with my old S3, just get the lenses & change bulbs with existing holders, 8P is the one that has bulb holders with new rear lights.

did exactly what prawn said brought some chrome bulbs from off ebay
