Hi all

Just had to sell my E46 M3 due to work issues amongst other things, I was looking at S3's prior to the BM but didn't pursue.

I have a chap who has a 2001 'x' S3 coming up tomorrow hopefully for me to see, any advice or specific things i should be looking for with me being an Audi virgin??

seen a few post over on bm3w ...shame about the m3 but the s3 is a car you wont be dissapointed with. if its an x reg...i would suggest you go for the facelift model, as it has got a slightly nicer interior and some really neat touches here and there!..

the facelift model came in 2000 ...not sure at what time though, but it'll def be from an x reg onwards, but some x regs are the mk1's...still great though!
