after recently making and fitting my fmic and finnally got around to driving my car after 6 weeks wait for my gearbox to have been repaired :wtf:, i have now noticed that my boost presure has risen from around 19-20 psi upto 23-24psi is this a safe boost level for a standard s3 engine with only the fmic and a custom code re-mapp, bit concerning but does go well now :racer: lol

Mine's running 23psi at high gears with low revs (fifth gear at 3000rpm) But that's only a peak

Mine runs 22.5psi, peak, i think they say the safe level is around 1.6 bar so yeah about 23-24psi..

cool so maybe i have the psi that i should have had after my re-mapp now i have the fmic to cope with the power

You should put your car on a rolling road to see how much you gain with the fmic

bit late though as i havent had it on the rollers before i fitted it

You won't gain any bhp from fitting a FMIC, all it does is reduce the amount of heat soak you get.
