Morning Folks!
Had my second AVS service yesterday (42k), and oh my god was it expensive!
I'd mentioned to the Service manager that it was losing power at around 3000 rpm. An hour after I dropped it off (and given a cak A2 as a courtesy car), he rang me. That always means trouble! Basically, the Air Mass Meter was faulty and a new one fitted was £335. S**t!
So the total for yesterday's trip to the stealers was:
Service - £305
Re-gas the climate - £135 (Way over priced too!)
Air Mass Meter - £335
When I got home I checked the oil. It was just as black as it was before I took it in /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burningmad.gif. Does anyone know the reason for this? I guess they use the 'suck out the old oil' process instead of doing it properly. If they do, it'll be going back to be done properly. You don't pay £780 for them to cut corners.
Have a good weekend everyone!
