It's time for another MOT, and I'm kind of worried that I'm going to fail my emissions because I'm using a sports cat, and running a big turbo.

I've been assured that I'll pass my emissions by Backdraft.

Anyone had any problems with emissions when using a sports cat, and/or big turbo?

Fingers crossed!!

Do you not know any 'friendly' mot stations??

you wont need no friendly stations should be perfectly fine!

LOL....just in case you never know ;)

100 cell cat and ihi on my golf passed 2 mots no problems.
100 cell cat and evan bigger turbo passed ok too
your be fine

Hey, thanks for all your comments.

Just to let you know. Car passed the MOT on the weekend.
The test station kindly allowed me to do an emissions check before the test, and said it would pass no problem.

Turns out that my emissions were lower than my sister's bmw, which had the oem cat on.

Backdraft guaranteed I'd pass emissions. So they weren't wrong.
<thumbs up> to them.

IIRC, if you looked through a standard S3 Cat Glen, you can see through it anyways. ;)

I'd worried if you couldn't see through it. Where would the exhaust gas go? :)

I know what you mean though.

Glad it passed Glen. Would be silly a major company offering kits that didn't.
