I have a chance to obtain AUQ engine (180PS) from scrapyard. Currently, my engine is 1.8T (AGU engine code) but I chipped it 3 months ago so it now produce around 195 PS.

I can sell AGU engine to another friend of mine who is very interested in and can install AUQ engine at the same cost. Is it worth doing it?

My tranny is 4 speed automatic (Bangkok is very busy city so I have to compromise). But If I install AUQ in, I will have 5 speed- tiptronic tranny. I know it is better than 4 speed tranny.

Any differences between these two engines? If I decide to chip AUQ engine, Would it produce more power than AGU?

Please advise. Thanks in advance. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif

Obviously anything is possible, but for you I would just steal the turbo from the AUQ (should be later better K03s type) fit it to your car and remap.

Should see about 230-240bhp so I've been told by jabba.

There is no real tuner in Thailand, Sadly. This is because Audi's dealers here have very bad reputation in servicing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif. Hence, Audi and VW are not popular compared to BMW and Mercedes.

Luckily, my father and I have run garage specialise in BMW, Mercedes and VAG for quite sometimes and we do in love with Audi /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/1luvu.gif. We have done some engine conversion (mainly VR6) for VW.

If I change just turbo and tranny, Can I use the old remapped? My AGU engine is chipped by Oettinger.

i thought oettinger didnt do chips for auto cars

If they do its a plus /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
