Is it possible to reach Rpm limit on the 6th gear

Hi,
I have know decided to upgrade my Audi S3 -00 with some kind of ECU re-map.
I will probably go for the Revo since it seems to be a good choice.
Does anyone know if it is possible to reach the RPM limit at 7200 rpm on the 6th gear with a Revo re-map?
I have talked to an S3 owner in sweden that has tuned his car with a chip from Dahlback racing and he can reach the rpm limit on the 6th gear and get a top speed of 174mph (280km/h).
Reason why I ask is because I'm more into getting a Revo re-map since the original ECU doesn't need to be replaced then.
Br, Kapten

Well to achieve the speed in the right column in your average road car you need roughly the power in the left column

Mph--BHP
30---5
40---8
50---12
60---19
70---27
80---38
90---52
100--69
110--90
120-114
130-143
140-176
150-215
160-258
170-307

So to get to a true 175mph it must be one hell of a chip!

For S3:

Final drive in 6th gear - 3.32:1
6th gear ratio - 0.91:1
With 225/45-17 tyres
Rev limit of 7200

That gives a theoretical top speed in 6th gear of 177mph

So you'll need a fair bit more than 300bhp to come close to the limiter in 6th, or maybe a very long hill

So if I had a 333 bhp coach like this http://www.holidayrambler.com/endeavor/specs.html
would me and me mates be able to steam up the M1 at 170 mph?

LOL...

No, because its not "an average road car"

But it'd be worth a try
