No warning noise when lights are left on!?

Hi all,

I have noticed that when I leave my lights on after the key is taken out of the ignition there is no warning sound.

This has been working up until now, does anyone have any ideas how to fix this or why its not sounding off anymore?

Isnt it meant to go off when you open the door???

I dunno but if you find out whats wrong with it and let me know so I can break mine, does my head in if I have to quickly go inside, either turn them off at dusk and forget to turn them off for ages or hear it going 'beeeeeep'

I cant readily remember correctly from my S3 but I always thought the light warning noise was built into the speedo/DIS, have you done a VAG on the car 1st to check for any codes that have been thrown?
