Can anyone help me, have just got my 1999 S3 and there seems to be a problem with the alarm. I left the window open by mistake and locked car few minutes later noticed hazzards flashing and sussed it was the alarm going off but there was no alarm sounding just the hazzards flashing. Anyone had this prob or got any ideas

Aaah, you guys have sirens. Mine just honks the horn. Nice and loud tho.

Big thanks to everyone, I thing i will give it a miss taking it all the way back to London (200 miles) to the dealers i got it from (fontaine), and get a new alarm when i can afford it, Clifford seems to be popular.
Most bizzare. The office mamager just mentioned to me that my hazards were flashing and maybe go and check my car...
