anyone know if these are any good?
is it a simple bolt off bolt on.
want a wee bit of noise but nothing mental!
would this dv give me any probs?
its just a standard 210 2001 s3 i have.

im after one aswell, as far as i know from reading about them on here they are fine. they do require a bit of adjustment when installing but the full instructions are on the forge website.

what do u need to do when installing?
im a little weary as the car runs fine, last thing im wanting is any probs!

I would just buy a forge 007 best ones for upgrades and who needs that silly noise !

I had one of these on my car...It was fine until i uprated the turbo then shortly after that the car started to leak boost . I looked at many possible problems and heard that the splitor dv wasnt a good choice with above stock boost as it can leak if not set up 100% right.
I changed it and a number of other things and the problem has gone. May have been nothing to do with the DV but... you never know

i have one and its great, just that little tsshh nothing mad, its reliable and i have had no probs and my car boosts 20psi, you do have to set them up but im not sure how many clicks to turn the adjuster on a standard set up i think its only a couple but probably best to ring a specialist a jbs who fitted mine when mapped to ask about setting it up or maybe even forge

Im still of the view that the engine was designed as a closed-loop recirculating system for a reason, so not willing to dump any boost to atmosphere personally, things are designed as such for a good reason (performance as well as turbo longevity and Im also aware of cost effectiveness) You dont want to be dumping too much boost and risk turbo-stall

Having said that Ive seen no data to prove (or disprove) that train of thought.

Seems to be two groups on here, people who dont want the noise they make and chavs... (Im only kidding, I have my collar up in that picture and Im from Pompey!)

Untill anyone can prove thier detremental the only reason not to fit one in my book is they do make you sound like an R5 GTT or like the Number 72 Bus using its air-brakes...

Personally Im sticking with my 007P. For more of a tissh you can always go for a modified induction system and fitting the 007P 'Reversed' as a few people on here do

Stay with the FMCL007P - the split R valves have loads of problems getting the right spring rate and even in standard form they can be a problem! Keep with the good old 007P :)

Shameless plug but I can do them for £85.00inc VAT delivered (only have black at the moment)
