hello!

i am in the process of getting my speedo cluster sorted which one would be hbetter?

Send to get repaired for £140 (repair speedo and get fuel gauge sorted)

or get a used one from ebay and get it reprogrammed?

help please!

Need to be careful with ebay used items

Clusters have different PR and Build Codes etc. They can be very vehicle specific on equipment, build year, connection style etc. Plus if you find one yous still have to get it reprogrammed which wont always work, its a safety feature to try and stop clocking

Belive you can only re-code the milage on a brand new unit and thats only the first time?

i heard that you can adjust the milage but only up. i thought about just getting it repaired for the £140 as its still programmed for my ECU etc does anyone recommend a repair specialist or jsut find one that does it? all good?

Id say try adn get your one repaired, wouldnt go for a second hand unit.

Or get audi/vw/skoda dealer to sort it.
