The screw on top of the DV where the vacum pipe connects seems loose, when you move the pipe the screw turns is this correct?

Mine does that some times........want to get some nylock

just wasn't sure if it was meant to be loose but as yours is the same I guess so

its meant to be tight. i tightened mine down with a spanner.

could this be the cause of another problem I have. When the revs climb slowly in first and second ie my foot is only feathering the throttle I get little blips where it feels like I've lifted off altogether
