how to refit drivers side cubby trim

hi i removed the trim under the sterring wheel with the light switch etc on, to look at the G200 sensor as i will need to replace it at some point.

However im having a nightmare trying to get the trim back in place correctly so all the screws line up. Elsa says "When installing, slide bottom of compartment into the two guides." what are the 2 guides? is it the white plastic clip things becuase thats what i tried.

any tips would be great thanks
    Ben

    that'll be these two guides

When i was having the same problem i found that taking out the whole headlight switch helped, IIRC you push the switch in and turn it by the time it gets the sidelights position it should come out.
