Is this a good deal for buffer and stuff?

Not sure if the polishers is a random orbital one (so moves randomly, doesn't just go round and round - if it did then this may cause more swirls than before!

If it is a random one then should be ok as they all do the same thing, it's the pad and polish choice that'll make the difference.
