Been phoning around today a few dealers and specialists, here's what ive found...

60k service includes:
Engine oil and filter
Air filter
Pollen filter
Spark plugs
Usual checks


Croydon Audi, Croydon, 0208 686 8844:
Cambelt - £550 inc. VAT (no waterpump), recommmended at 80k.
Haldex oil and filter - £160 inc. VAT
60k service - £340 inc. VAT

APS, Brackley, 01280 840491:
Cambelt - £440 inc. VAT (pump, belts, tensioner)
Haldex oil and filter - £75 inc. VAT
60k service - £230 inc. VAT
Possible discount of about £50 if done all together.

AMD Technik, Essex, 01708 861827:
Cambelt - £469 inc. VAT (pump, belts, tensioner)
Haldex oil and filter - £80 + VAT
60k service - £175 + VAT
Free brake fluid change if all together.

Tuning Werkes, Croydon, 0208 681 0208:
Cambelt - £475 inc. VAT(pump, belts, tensioner)
Haldex oil and filter - £120 inc. VAT
60k service - £175 inc. VAT
Possible discount from Edition38

VagTech, Leighton Buzzard, 01525 279513:
Cambelt - £326 inc. VAT (pump, belts, tensioner)
Haldex oil and filter - £90 inc. VAT

Plus 10% servicing discount on here.

Still waiting on quotes from Mega4/AMD and The Phirm.

So VagTech wins, bit of a trek from me but would save a fair chunk compared to the others.

Just thought Id let you know... when I was phoning aroung for my 80k service, out of the main dealers in the area Audi Wimbledon came out the cheapest. The service included change brake fluid, haldex oil and filter for just under £600. Good customer service too.

I remember Audi Croydon quoted for the same work just over £700!

Noticed you're in London my friend, so it maybe worthwhile checking out the prices of Russell Automotive Centre in Kingsbury, North-west London.

I've recently had my car serviced, haldexed and the cambelt changed (105k and never replaced up 'til then!) using his garage. Steve and his team have done a brilliant job with great customer service; reminds me, got to see him again soon though on something he pointed out whilst changing the cambelt ! Very reasonable...

Cambelt kit and water pump - £340.74 inc VAT
Full service - £250 inc VAT
Haldex oil and filter - £90 inc VAT
Plus 10% labour charge deduction on prices quoted

It's also worth changing the water pump to one with a metal impellor (the standard audi one's plastic) when you do the cambelt
