cracked disc .

Ah drilled discs, yes that is quite common on drilled discs.

has any one else had this problem?
thanks dan

I had some EBC drilled discs on my S3 once and they lasted only a few thousand miles. They look good but I would get grooved discs next time whatever brand. To compare I put on standard OEM discs and pads after these went and they are still going strong about 10K miles later!

them disc u gave us with car
dont fit the s3 .there differnt offset.
tryed changing the center floating
part but no joy.hunting around for new discs
cheapest so far £ 380 !!

Oh right sorry mate, u tried a ECS dealer and seeing if you can swap them for the right ones?
Try contacting ECS direct in america, give them the part number of both the old and new discs and see what you can do, gotta be something they can do

when did you buy the car? didn't you check before buying or did it happen after?

there were allrite when i brought it.
although i had to change the pads a week after i got it
as the right front went close to the metal, there must of been
a sticky caliper at some point. i redone the cv boot the other day
as it was split and leaking . had the car just over 3 weeks now and
is making a big whole in my pocket. hopefully this will be ok for a while
now .touch wood

**** me! There 100% wasnt any cracks like that in them when i sold it mate, as i had all the wheels off to clean the brakes and inner arches.
You must have been giving it some stick to crack those discs.
Pads were fine too, they wernt even half worn bud as i had them checked.

Didnt know about the CV boot thou sorry, if i knew it was bust i would of have it done as theyre only a couple of quid
