Coilpacks are about 25 each from GSF or Eurocar parts, but if you are lucky you may only need one. Thou if you can get it vag commed you can save yourself some time working out which one it is, if not you may have to change one at a time until it runs sweet again.

It is a DIY job as long as you have a some allen/hex keys and a socket set. Thou I am pretty sure there will be a how to do it thing o here if you search for it buddy.

    Good luck

Hey didnt even know you had the car back, is it all sorted now, apart from the above issue??

Get the car on Vagcom, that will be your best bet and see what it comes up with, let us know how you get on

Any luck finding out the problem?
I had the same problem and found out one of my injectors were gone
It cost me 250 to get it sorted.
Hopefully this not the case for you though.

i got a genuine coilpack for 29 inc vat from my local dealer

easy to diagnose without vagcom, just keep unplugging them until the roughness doesnt get any worse. then you have found your faulty one

easy to replace just take a look under your engine cover you will see them, No.3+4 are *******s thou
