Changing full beam bulbs on S3

Hey chaps!

My full beam light on my facelift S3 is absolutely terrible compared to my normal dipped blue exenon beam. Shocking infact, completely orange compared and hardly makes a difference when used!

Anyway from reading up on here I think it's H7 size.. Anyone know how much skin im going to use getting at them to change them? Any tips, tricks greatly appreciated!

easy change, i fitted philips blue vision, they're very white and good light, off ebay, you get free sidelight bulbs too

Hmm on further investigation, it seems the high full beams are H1's? Can anyone concur with this? I was under the impression they were H7's.... (under A3 8L)

H7's are only for halogen dipped beam, you'll need H1 for the high beam.

my S3 has H7 main beams

W5W for the sides

PIAA Xtreme Force 4700k are awesome got these all round. Awesome at night, really awesome

Thats what I thought, I got a set of H1's as well but they don't fit for sure but they do fit the A3 8L & Seat Leon MK1

Arr ok, well my S3 is a 8L I believe so the H1's still may be for mine!

A3 8L = H1

good shout, IIRC stick in audisport10 and you get a 10% discount
