could anybody tell me,what are the normal tyre pressures on an a3 with 225/40/18s,i don't trust the tyre fitters to add the correct psi.

hi carl - yeah I need to know the exact same info! 225/40/18's under normal load conditions...........anyone?

I would suggest 34-38 psi and you will not be far wrong, and bear in mind that the data sticker shown above is for a car weighing a couple of hundred kilos more than the A3, especially at the rear end, so you'll want lower pressures.
I would suggest trying at 34 psi and then play with the pressures for handling and comfort levels. The tyre will also give you an indication as to it's pressure requirements.

RSW,i am reasonably happy with the refurb,they look very good,but they only did the face of the wheel,i assumed the whole wheel would be sand/bead blasted,filled then resprayed. but mine were,reprofiled,then the paint was matched.
