    TDI specs required

What are the specs on these please?

I still think I will be getting a T Sport, but if the fuel consumption is a lot better then I may end up with one of these.

    Re: TDI specs required

On what current A3 or prev model?

Prev model had choice of 90 or 110 bhp TDI to start with which was then revised to 100 or 130 PD TDI's All achieve a realistic 50mpg but the PD engines are much more lively. 130PD's come with a 6spd box as do some 110's the others make do with 5. All respond to tuning very well especially the 130 PD which can be remapped to around the 180bhp mark with over 290lbft torque!!!

Mark, I'm looking at TDI's myself right now. By all accounts the economy on a A3 1.8t is not all that great, especially if you chip it.

That's what I have been looking at.

Have a look here, basically most people are lucky to get 35Mpg from their 1.8t's. Finding a good TDI is proving very hard tho !
