Trouble is diesels that were bullet proof ayear or so ago are being hit hard now, with diesel being a solid 12% more than petrol most places, the premium you used to have to pay for them is gone. Coupled to thre fact most have done higher miles than an equivalent petrol, due to cost per mile to run being previously far lower.
It is a nice spec car and will sell at the right price.
Have a look at actual sales going through on ebay etc, autotrader is not a good guide as you never know what price cars sell at.

i dont think you are miles away, but I think if you advertise it at 5800ono, you will get more interest, more people looking at it and it could sit for weeks as it is and end up going for less!

But it is a crazy market out there at the mo. I have been offered a 52 plate golf pd 130, 85k miles, not leather but recaros and climate, cruise 6 speed etc for less than 4k!
A year ago, same car on a 51 plate would have shot away for high 5k!

Hang in there, get some viewings and it will go!

    Thanks Simch,

I looked at 52 plate GT TDi 150 two years ago with 98k on the clock the guy wanted a shade under 7k for it. Now they will be around 4.5k!!!

    The market is crazy ATM!!
