    Gains on an AUM engine after a remap?

    Just been quoted an increase to 205-210bhp and 230-240lb/ft after a CC phase 1…..seems a bit of a jump from stock 148bhp.

    Are these realisistic figures?

    Could this be due to the KO3s that AUM's are supposed to have?

    Also is the Forge 007p DV worth getting or should I save me pennies and go for an oem when it fails?

    sounds abit of a jump to me.normally the companies quote about 30-40bhp increase but over that seems ambitious to me from just a remap

    I would say that those figures are very realistic for your car.

    Yup. You can get some good numbers out of the K03s on those engines. You can get more if you swap the downpipe and exhaust.

    i'll let you know what happens. I'm hoping to get it rolling roaded before and after.

    It'll be money well spent if they can get anywhere near the quoted figures!!

    i had aum on my old golf. has ko3s turbo yea. them figures seem right.
    add air filter and exhaust, beter cat and you could get more

    AUM with a K03s will give almost exactly those figures with just a remap.

    Change the stock 1.5" downpipe and you could be looking at more too.

    Mine is a K03s with the downpipe/decat, but standard intake and I've had 254Bhp at the most and 225Bhp at the least on various rolling roads. With 290ft.lbs torque.

    As above, stage 1 software will get you running approx 210bhp, fit a turbo back exhaust system, and you will see approx 230bhp
