First Post, but a bit of help..

Hi folks,

This is me posting for the first time, hope Im not breaking any rules or anything!

Anyway, getting on the Audi ladder next week, getting a new A3, but its only a 1.9TDI, but with the sports trim.

Ive been hearing a few stories about breakdowns etc in the new style A3, and just wondered if anyone else has had similar experience?

Also, is there anything that can be done to squeeze a little more power out of this engine?

Loads can be done to squeeze a bit more out of that engine - a full remap should see a sound 140bhp amd a sizeable increase in torque!!

As Barry says loads more umph can be gotten from the 1.9 TDI powerplant.

On the issues front I think the only one I've heard about was with wiper motor problems on the new A3, so maybe you can try a search on here for the posts.
