clutch starting to go

hi guys & girls,

my clutch has started to slip after having it chipped, will a standard clutch be ok with the extra power or will i need a upgraded clutch,

Standard clutch will be fine unless you plan on any further mods.

I disagree - depends what torque you are running. If you are over 300lb/ft with your remap I think you are above the capacity of the standard clutch and hence recommend an uprated one.

Oops, just seen your car spec Chris and you are talking about an A3 hence no problems as you won't get that much torque out of a remap.
