When using the air con codes. What is the number for coolant temp???
I think its 51 can anyone confirm????

I think it's 51 actually, 49 just goes up to 90 slowly and stays there. or it could the other way round, you'll know by looking tho

Sure it's 49 on mine as i used it very recently as i was having probs with temp/thermostat. Maybe it can vary? Like you say, best bet is to check and see!

Animal - if you press the 'recirc' and 'up' buttons together on the climate control unit it should show '1c'

Then press the temp '+' or '-' buttons to choose a code for checking various values (in this case either 49c or 51c) Then press the 'recirc' button again and it should show the value for the for the coolant temp.
There's a few things u can see, RPM, speed etc.

brilliant, didnt know about that...... i take it these values remove the usual climate reading? also how do you revert back to the climate

yea - it removes the climate figure. You just press recirc or auto to put it back to normal.

The fan speed buttons work as normal in either mode though!

so if the coolant temp is 49....then does that mean i have to click 49 times?????

Pretty much... unless you go backwards (can't remember what the highest code number is...) Either way, 49/51 is as near as dammit in the middle!!!

Or, you can just press and hold to save clicking! only takes about 10 secs.

okies....so you can view, speed, rpm, temp..... whats the other 46 options?

There's more than 49! Not sure what all of them do but there's temps from various places all round the car: interior/exterior also loads of potentiometer values for god knows what! Think it's basically everything the CC needs to know to operate efficiently.

But certain ones are just good for a cheap way of diagnosing some wee problems!!!

ahhhhhhhhh cheers for that noggy...will have a go on my way to work in the morn:beerchug:

No bother, think 27c is RPM for interest if you're playing, and sure 49c is ECT on mine.

Will check tommorrow and post back for Dave.

Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the manual flow control up arrow. You should see a 1c. Press the temperature up ("+") or down ("-") buttons to select a code number. Then press the recirculation button again. The value should display. Press the temperature up or down button again to display another code.

NOTE: Air Flow Motor (V 71) and Potentiometer (G 113) are not installed in USA/Canada vehicles. Disregard values displayed for these components.

No, thats why you have a speedo infront of you :p

Not gonna me much different accuracy wise anyway dude, their reading from the same sensor

Weird... Just checked on my car and my ECT is 49 and my RPM is 27 - Obvioulsy not gone through all of them but mine is def different to that list Grathies!?!?!
:uhm:
