Help needed??

Hi there, my father-in-law has a 52 plate A3 1.6, and is having problems with the indicators not flashing. He thought it was down to a relay problem, both he and I have had a scout around and can't find any sign of a relay. Has anyone ever had this issue, or can someone advise on the problem.

hey there i had the same problem with my S3. the relay unit is actually part of the hazard light switch if you go to audi with your engine code they will give you a whole new unit its very easy to replace takes only 5 mins.

Is it easy to remove the hazard warning switch? Also any idea of cost? I had an S3 a few years back but to be honest can't even remember where the switch is.

its dead easy to remove. its the big red triangle button in the middle of the dash ! all you ned to do is carefully prize away the dash trim but be careful because it is fragile then slide out the hazard light button unplug and take it to audi and they will give you a nice shiny new one for about 20 quid
