Car sometimes feels sluggish

VAG-COM brings up nothing, not even an intermittant.

Sometimes the car seems to take forever to get up to temperature and sometimes seems to get there really quick.

Nothing scientifcally measured here so it could just be my own perception getting things wrong, however lets assume for a second I am right: could the temp taking longer be at all related to the car sometimes feeling sluggish and if so what particular engine component should I be approaching Audi for ?

Have you changed the temp sender I recall AndyMac mentioning sluggishness in an old post http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?t=49587

well I had a reasonably long drive today and the car should have hit 90oC even though it is quite cold outside but it didnt

by the time i got back the car was just below 90

does this shed any more light on my issue ? (oh and for the record the car seemed to drive just fine today )
