does an S3 bumper fit onto a facelift 2000 a3??

been looking about for a while for an s3 bumper and i have managed to find one. Ive looked through various posts on here but found no propper answers to if they fit or not.

i am aware that s3's have wider rear arches but will the s3 bumper line upto my rear arches ok with out any modifications??? I dont know the year of the bumper as someone brought it for a project and doesnt know the year of it either but i dont know if they are any diff on the non facelift or facelift models??

will i need to buy any new guide rails for the bumper to line up ok???

any help will be much appreciated.

The rear's hit and miss

you may or may not need new rails wont know till you put the bumper on to try - the s3 bumpers are the same for all years

If you want the exhaust to show in the right place you'll need to cut away a blanking plate and have a new backbox/pipes made up

Or you could cheat, leave the real exhaust hidden and cut out just enough of the blanking plate to sit a set of fake pipes in securely
