Just taken possession of some replacement 16" genuine Audi wheels. The chap I bought them told me that the came from an A3 but when I have come to fit them they won't fit the pattern is bigger!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Have Audi changed the stud pattern on the A3 at any time?,
or has the guy made a mistake and sold me A4 wheels.??

PROBABLY SOLD YOU A4 ALLOYS.LOOK AT THE PART NUMBER ON THE WHEEL.IF IT SAYS 8D0 OR 4BO AT THE START THEY ARE A4/A6.TO FIT A3 THEY SHOULD START WITH 8LO OR 1J0.

Old A3 5*100

New A3 5*112 (Also A4, A6, etc)

there is a 45 offset on the new A3 makes it impossible to get a decent range of rims

Looks like the wheels you got belong to the new A3 which is 5x112 and ones you need if you have the previous A3 are 5x100 with et35.

8EO is an A4 part number if they were from a new A3 they would have an 8P part number.
