jesus!
well have the car apart to find, all parts i have are wrong and only Audi can supply the inner one so car has been on stands waiting 2 days now pretty simple job but i'd wish i had got all the correct parts to begin with!

this 2 days without car has saved me a good couple of hundred quid from garage doing though although OEM boots were over £40!!

how much have you stripped off to that, I did the outer one without removing the hub assembly.

Im sticking with audi or vw for spares now finding all the other spares suppliers are c@cks.

doesn`t bare well when you saw its a S3 and they ask the engine size ***.

the only way i could see doing that was using a universal CV boot that you glue together!
i'm just following the way you do it on ELSA thats all!

Do not use the two piece boots. Utter pants.

Sometimes ElsaWin can get a bit too involved and often you can get away with not having to remove so much stuff. Nice to have the info at hand though.

Ask for trade prices on parts if you are a regular at the parts desk. I get this from my local VW dealer and it really helps to keep costs down.

you can buy semi universal stretch boots that stretch right over everything!
