should the airbag light come on briefly?

Hello,

When I start my car the airbag light in the roof light bit comes on for a couple of seconds and then goes off. Is this normal? 2002 S3....

Yes it is normal, it just comes on to show that its working, if it stays on, i believe thats just to indicate that the passenger airbag is switched off (baby seat purposes)
