S3 Servicing...

Hi

Can anyone be of some help, need to find out when services occur and what needs to be changed/upgraded on each occasion when the major services take place etc etc...

It should all be in your service book, but the key things outside of the usual oil & filters are:
Every 20k is a haldex oil change
Every 40k is a haldex oil and filter change
Every 2 years is brake fluid
Every 4 - 5 years and/or every 40 - 60k (depending who you talk to) is timing belt, tensioners and water pump.

So on that basis, there is a big bill somewhere between the 40 - 60k mark, and another one in the general 80 - 120k mark.

The reason that i am asking is because i want to know what to look for when buying a s3 i would prefer to get one after the big service like timing belt, tensioners and water pump has been done so i do not have to fork out extra money as i am on a budget already...
