Central locking along with all electric windows!

Hi everyone,
Got to work one day to find that none of the central locking worked. Meaning I had to lock each door manually along with the boot, and to open I have to do each door manually again. This hacked me off enough. Then driving home saw that none of the electric window switches were lit up, tried flciking them and got nothing.
Really hacked off because Audi want 115 quid an hour to diagnose it!!!
Although the guy did tell me sumthing for free, he said it sounded like the central locking ecu had gone ... ?
Can anyone help!?
Or does anyone know any good (cheap) Audi specialists around the Portsmouth/Chichester area.

Forgot to mention: V reg, Registered in 2000 (all from the Audi guys computer...), Kept in good condition. Have also checked central locking fuse but its fine...

Give JKM a call, they're behind VW and excellent.
Could just be the central locking pump, but it's a pig to get to. Stick your head in the boot down by the lefthand cubbyhole and you should be able to hear the pump if it's working when you blip the key fob.
