Evening folks,
Appreciate the best set up is the Bilsteins/H&R but I intend to replace the following over the next month or so in 2 stages :
ARB's with uprated items - Eibach or H&R
Wishbone bushes with OEM replacements
Balljoints depending on what my mechanic says on monday
Top mounts
Drop links
oh and a cv gaitor and power steering pipe
What stage does the car need to be re-aligned - I know it needs sorting after the ARB's go on but what about when the wishbone bushes r replaced?
Seeing as that little lot will cost a few quid on top of the cam belt I have just had done I thought I would save the 175 quid by going Koni over the Bilsteins....seeing as I never tend to keep my cars for much over 1-2 yrs..
Anyone have 1st hand view of the Koni sports - guessing they are pretty good but may be a little harder than the H&R/Bilstein gear?
Also should I set the rear (adj. off car only) on softest setting or a qtr or a half??
My car at the moment is 65k miles with a broken front spring so the Koni must be an improvement surely.....
Oh, and I'll do the tie arms when the naff Kingstar tyres are knackered (so bad in the wet!!!).....F1's planned
Thanks
